The Ridenour Lyrique Basset A Clarinet enables you to play the Mozart Clarinet Concerto, Mozart Clarinet Quintet as Mozart originally wrote them for Anton Stadler. The range extends the low register to a written "C" below low "E" (concert "A"). Unlike manufacturers that also offer the Basset A we at RCP make it easy for you to afford, offering it to you in not one, but three possible options.
Option 1. You may order the basset A clarinet as an additional joint, along with the Lyrique A clarinet.
Option 2.You may order the basset A lower joint by itself.
Unless you own a Lyrique A clarinet, this will require you to send us your present A clarinet so it can be matched
with our basset A lower joint. The acoustical matching and set up will be personally done by Tom Ridenour.
The basset A lower joint is acoustically compatible with the Buffet R-13 and Festival A clarinets, and most Yamaha A clarinet models.
Option 3. You may order the basset A clarinet by itself, in its own individual case.
